Restoration funding, in the open
In 2016, a federal court approved a settlement among the Gulf States, the United States, and BP arising from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality's Office of Restoration administers Mississippi's share of those funds. This portal lists each grant, its solicitations and reports, and the public documents behind them.
