Washington Avenue Gateway

About this grant

The purpose of this project is to provide an improved gateway connection into Coastal Mississippi. Improvements to existing transportation networks in the vicinity of Highway 609/Washington Avenue are needed to ease traffic congestion, enhance traveler safety, increase accessibility to existing and proposed new retail developments, and provide an aesthetically pleasing gateway route.
