Professional Auditing Services

About this grant

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (“MDEQ”) is seeking bidders with qualifications and experience to provide professional auditing services for the purpose of expressing an opinion related to the project(s) and/or program(s) implemented by MDEQ, which involve the funds received by MDEQ, as a result of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon (“DWH”) Oil Spill (the “Project”). At a minimum, the contractor should perform the following procedures as part of their engagement: (1) audit receipts; (2) audit expenditures; and (3) audit financial information to verify it is accurate, complete, and in compliance with the funding source agreements.
